Chememan Joins Watershed Forest Restoration Effort, Building Check Dams to Support Nature Recovery

8 May 2026: Chememan Public Company Limited, in collaboration with the Royal Forest Department, the Ban Tham Nam Phu Community Forest Committee, Thap Kwang Municipality, and the Saraburi Tourism Association, organized the “Food, Fish, Forest and Check Dam Project Year 2” under the Public–Private–People Partnership (PPPP) framework. The initiative aims to restore the Ban Tham Nam Phu Community Forest and improve water sources for wildlife in the area.
During the activity, participants from all sectors worked together to repair and build check dams and transport water to replenish water sources within the forest. These efforts help increase moisture in the watershed area and support the recovery of the forest ecosystem. As a result of continuous conservation activities, the Ban Tham Nam Phu Community Forest has gradually regained water sources, and wildlife has started to return to the area. This reflects the power of collaboration among government agencies, the private sector, and local communities in protecting natural resources and creating a sustainable future for generations to come.
Chememan remains committed to conducting business responsibly while supporting community development and environmental conservation. The Company strives to create a balance between tourism, local economic development, and environmental sustainability.
